Q College has an intensive 12 week government-accredited program and one of a kind in Canada. I have the privillege of heading up the program. I write the cirriculum, quizzes, assignments, and teach it every day. Drupal is so vast; I try to cram as many fundamentals, best practices, and good habits as I can in because graduated students can comfortably call themselves Drupal site builders and themers. These terms are typically on any job posting advertising for a proficient Drupalista.

Contact Form

All Morrison Multimedia Inc. websites have contact forms built in that are sent to a specified email account. The contact form comes with security features built in to verify the sender is a real visitor who is trying to contact you. EVERY contact form we produce comes with (at least) an image captcha to reduce unwanted spam that is typically caused by posting actual email addresses online. We can also integrate your site with services like ReCaptcha and Mollom.

Windows to Linux Site Move; Dealing with 404 Errors and Case Sensitivity in PHP

Windows servers are not case sensitive.

Linux servers are. Files and directories must be exact case.

So when you move a website from a Windows server to a Linux server, you're probably going to have some 404 errors. Today I rolled the best solution possible. This would be applicable to moving a PHP site from a Windows to Linux server.

I am quite sincere in asking this. Please share with me in the comments section, brief or detailed, your experiences good or bad with Joomla. I have a feeling one side will outweigh the other on this one.

I am quite eager to hear your stories with Joomla. Personally, if my web development firm or shop told me they were using Joomla for any project in their office, I would immediately fire them. I just don't understand why that happens.

The Drupal 6 Module Creator

I've re-factored the Drupal 6 module creator that I used to have on my website. It's been down since I changed hosting accounts and finally got a chance to finish it. Even though I'm using more Drupal 7 now than Drupal 6, it's still going to be useful to have around anytime I (or you!) need to make a module.
